How many rounds were used to generate the tables in BJA3 chapter 10?

In BJA3, Chapter 10, p221, it says"20 billion rounds were dealt".

In CVCX, sim page, it says Blackjack Attack used 2000. 2000 million=2 billion, not 20 billion.

If I wrote 20 billion, then that's what Norm told me. If it was 2 billion, I'd like to know, so that I can correct it for a future reprint.

Of course, why would it matter? But I'd like to be accurate in print. Reminds me of the joke about the scientist who tells the guy that the sun might extinguish in 50 billion years. Guy answers back, "Oh, thank goodness. At first, I thought you had said 50 million!" :-)

SPeaking of understatement, on Friday afternoon, this fellow walks into a drugstore, and asks the clerk for a gross of condoms. He returns on Monday morning and asks the clerk if she remembered him. Of course, she replied - I sold you 1 gross, 144 condoms on Friday.

Well, he replied - the box only had 143 condoms - I’m so sorry I spoiled your weekend sir, she replied.

    Billion has two accepted definitions:
    1. 1,000,000,000 one thousand, million. ( known as the short scale billion)

    2. 1,000,000,000,000 one million, million (long scale billion)

I learnt about this trying to resolve an anomaly in my bank account (I wish)

Never heard of this short scale long scale term. I thought the 2nd is one trillion.

Haha, it surely wouldn't matter. I realize lots of my posts are not helpful for casino play. Sometimes I just want to know the truth to erase a clog in my brain.

The final run was 20 billion (short scale).

Billion is different in the US and in Great Britain. They say a thousand million for what we call a billion. Then, they call a billion for what we call a trillion. Same thing in France. They have a special word for a billion -- un milliard. But they also have a word, "billion," and it means our trillion.

    Confusing.

So that's 20,000 million rounds, understood.
