When did it happen? I was there few weeks ago, I didnt see it. They have CSM in fox tower that pays 6:5 , but its one dollar game with ante.

Six tables were re felted to 6:5 over the weekend. All are in the Fox Tower with some in the pit directly behind the $1 tables. None were open this AM.

Actually the $1 games pay 3:2.

No. What they had was a license agreement that allowed Foxwoods to use the MGM name and the trademark lion. That ended in 2014 when MGM got serious about Springfield.

Too much competition in the tri state area, they desperate for profit I guess, they following the footsteps of the Sun, soon they going to worse the penatration.

I wouldn't be too concerned about Foxwoods' penetration. They are all about maximizing hands per hour. Dealers on the 8 deck games are told to cut off no more than one deck, many do a little less. Combined with 8 deck shoes dealt from ASMs, they are serious about it.

Mohegan Sun dealers have been told to cut deeper but old habits die hard. They have 3:2 available at $15 minimums at all but the busiest of times. Both casinos are ghost towns on weekdays right now.

All 29 tables in the Fox Tower Casino will be 6:5. Crews were busy this morning stripping the 3:2 felts off 8 tables in one pit. The 6:5 tables were open, including a handicap table. The Pequot and Great Cedar Casinos are still 3:2.

A good game can be had in the Newport Room with 6 decks S17 for $50 min on weekdays. Good luck trying to spread though.

You can get a heads up table if you play $100 minimum. You get a dedicated counter catcher until he decides you aren't counting. A really strong count won't need much of a spread. It is pretty easy to make them "know" you aren't counting if you know how to do it. Eventually they will get you but it will be because of your winning record, not their observations. Foxwoods is getting less patient when it comes to winning players that don't seem to be counting.

I'm heading to Foxwoods next week for the first time in years, and would appreciate an update. Are the Pequot and Great Cedar casinos still 3:2, as mentioned above on October 24th? Is there any 3:2 at all left at Foxwoods now, outside of the high roller pit? Do they still have several tables of Spanish 21 with 3:2 and the relatively favorable rules they had before (S17, 0.42 percent house edge)? Thanks.

The Grand Pequot Casino is all 3:2 with a mix usually of $10 and $15 minimums and is the only casino that doesn't close overnight in these slow times. The one pit that is always open there is dealt from ASMs. The pit that opens later is hand shuffled.

The Great Cedar Casino is down to five 3:2 tables and doesn't open until around 11 AM. The problem here is the eleven 6:5 tables. You just don't know which tables they will open. This is roughly the same situation in the Rainmaker Casino.

The Fox Tower is all 6:5 except for the two remaining $1 tables. They pay 3:2 and the .25 cent ante is waived for a wager of $10 or higher. I mention them because the CSMs have been removed and they are now hand shuffled. The problem with them is the max bet which I have seen as low as $50. It's a five minute walk from the Pequot if you want to check.

I don't pay attention to Spanish 21 but have not heard of any changes in those games. Enjoy your trip.

Thanks so much, this is very helpful. Sounds like they are experimenting with 6:5, and comparing the volume/profitability vs 3:2. We can only hope they decide long-term that it's worth keeping some non-high-roller 3:2 around.
