    Is it beatable?

Is it beatable with card counting?

    • Six decks
    • Dealer stands on soft 17
    • Player may double on any first two cards, including after splitting
    • Player may split to up to four hands, except aces may only be split once
    • Player may take early surrender, except against a dealer ace
    • If player double/split, s/he only loses the original bet when the dealer gets a blackjack
    • CSM in use but dealer will let a small pile (about 52 cards) build up before putting them in the shuffler

    Mental estimation 0.15% - 0.20% house edge

    With 1/6 pen..

I would say that game IS marginally beatable, but not worth trying

The house edge with these rules is less than 0.2%

Looks like Macau rules. HE should be 0.16% according to wizard of Macau.

Beatable with the windowed count if they allow you to play all boxes on the table. I’ll recommend reverse split in that case.
Though EV might be marginal, but if you can combine it with players card for comp and maybe some form or rebate it’s not bad?

I assume OP is in Asia, not like we have a great choice of games like some of the players here. Private Msg me if you wish to exchange info on Asia.

How can a player double/split if the dealer gets a blackjack in the first place?

In some jurisdictions, game is No Hole Card. All hands play out before a dealer gets a second card.

Maybe when the dealer lets 4 decks worth of discards build up before putting them in the CSM. Anything less and its still a CSM.

Thanks all for telling me that the game is marginally beatable. Yea I think it might not worth trying coz the HE is low but in my country, all casinos are using CSM /_\

I was in Macau few month ago. While I was there, I was trying to find a breakeven game to kill time, but I didn't find such one that reserve 1 deck of cards before putting them in the CSM. The game you described is not worth trying for money, but it can achieve break even variance trading situation. Do you mind telling me which casino in Macau offers this kind of game?

Search for all csm related topics in the forum you might get an idea. What’s the min bet here ? If it’s low enough and you can get away with a large spread..... marginally beatable if you wish to pass time. Shouldn’t count on it to make money ?? maybe you can score a free dinner with the casino. The great thing about Macau is the casino is probably ten min walk away from where you stay.
