Does the technology exist that can tell casino personnel, say pit, the count at any given table at any time? If it does, it probably makes card counter detection far easier.

There is one casino I play in where the pit guy seems to head to a monitor when he sees anyone wong in with a bet greater than $50 on a $10 minimum table or bets bigger money and otherwise plays minimum. The same casino (and its siblings in the chain) have a pit person often spending time at the monitor on the HL room. Its quite obvious when there is only 1-3 tables in play and someone is winning.

You could say they are watching porn or checking emails but this is quite constant in one casino chain much more so than in others.

Such technology could be devastating and short sessions would have to be even shorter.
