Soytari.........Your post makes it appear that you are one of the authors. If so, these are some of the absurd statements you make on your website.

"The self-indulgent message boards are wrong."
    "Card counting does NOT work."
    "Basic strategy is WRONG!"

Everyone here can tell from simply reading these three statements that you are either a fraud or a fool or both. It is obvious that you are trying to market your book to ignorant people who have no knowledge of the game whatsoever. Maybe you'll get lucky and be able to get your 9-5 job back when the masses realize you are a scam artist.

jaygruden of course i was trying to make fun of the site, but on second reading one could get that impression also.
how can basic strategy not work for example, do they use a different algebra.
or if card counting does not work anyway table limits should be 1 $ - 10 k everywhere.

For the sake of argument, is it possible that there ia a shuffle that is too hard for most people to track yet still retains some card clumping effect? If I had to guess based on the dozen or so different shuffles I've seen, the most common one is the one that fits that description best, the step ladder + riffle restack. I believe this is used because it strikes their favorite balance between effectiveness and efficiency. But if efficiency just happens top overlap with clumpiness then casinos could accidentally be getting free clump value

You are probably talking about honest shuffles however, ever hear of the Zarrow? Beautiful little riffle that retains the original order (if desired), you won't know
it when you see it. How about the Faro? Another sweet little riffle that you won't know it
when you see it. In the hands of a good mechanic is nearly perfect. They don't have to
be perfect to be effective. But, as we are all told, the casinos have too much to lose to do
such things. Yeah, right. Has any casino in modern history been shut down for cheating like
this? How could they? You can't prove it. These type of shuffles can place plugs where
desired and we would never be able to follow it. One thing about these shuffles though,
it takes a dedicated person to be able to do it smoothly.

In fact I want to know if somebody had the same feelings concerning those situations, and how to manage when such situations arrive?
