    Opportunity in online poker?

Since gambling has been somewhat more legalized in the USA is there a opportunity to make a profit playing online poker? I know the good players really cleaned up in the early 2000's when Texas hold em boomed. Now I assume most people playing are seasoned vets so there is no longer much money making potential except for a elite player. I was thinking there may be some resurgence going on with a lot of new money coming into online poker?? Anyone making money this way or is it just more of a hobby?

Yes, online poker is my main source of income at the moment. There are still a lot of opportunities to make money if you know what you are doing.

I know a guy personally in his early 20s who makes around $100k/yr playing online poker. Only has done it a couple years.

He'd never played in a real casino, live game, anything, went to the WSOP this year for the big 10k buy in tournament with 8k entries and made the top 225
