CV Software on MacOS with WINE?

Hoping I can run CV software on MacOS laptop using WINE or some other such thing. I don't really want to go the Virtual Machine route, or the "buy another laptop" route, if possible.

Has anyone successfully run the CV software with the WINE (non)emulator?

I've run CV## with an app called Crossover (https://www.codeweavers.com/products). You can get a free 14 day demo on their site to test before springing for the full thing. It's pretty nice and just makes a wrapper (wine I think/whatever) for the app. Launching is easy. Worked in OS Mojave.

Much more simple setting up Parallels or Boot Camp.
