You may think you are being helpful supplying that extra info on an open forum but at the same time, it calls your trustworthiness to keep a secret into question with other AP'S. There is a reason Norm has a private message board.

MWP, I will repost a recent quote regarding you from 21forme an actual real AP:

"MWP, perhaps you should preface each of these regressive posts with, "I'm just a part-time recreational player and I was wondering..." "

So MWP this is what these boards are for to spoon feed the valuable information that is easily obtainable just by showing up and looking for yourself? Now seriously this is coming from someone living in a different part of the country who should frankly know better and also stay out of it.

Well, MWP all I can say is I hope you have a good year gaming, you idiot!

If anyone thinks I should delete this, let me know and I will.

This is a good opportunity to play their not best games. All their attention will be on the S17 pit. I used a similar strategy in MGM LV for many years - Avoid the small pit of S17 games near the HL slot room and do most of the play in the H17 pit near the cage (before it went 6:5). Much less scrutiny.

Apparently the next choice down to play is:

"Pit 7 has 15 tables and pit 8 has 14. All 29 tables are 6:5, no even money and no surrender. Aces may be re-split. Pit 7 minimums were $10 and Pit 8 was $15. Table max in both pits was $500. All 29 tables are dealt from CSMs. They are not the one2six that many are familiar with. They are the newer Shuffle Master Shuffle Star model."

That is not taking one step backward, that is falling down an entire flight of stairs, and landing on the cellar floor. No other bj options in that joint.

So there are no playable games outside the counter trap pit? Pathetic!

You really think they would have set special tables with good rules just to trap counters ?

Not a thing unless your base bet is $100 but that high limit room is closely watched. I hope my posts save someone the disappointment of traveling for nothing. When things calm down I guarantee that just a few of those S17 tables will be open on weekdays. This place is all about 6:5.

Anyone want to try counting the CSMs? The pen is 1/6. I'm joking of course. They don't put the cards back in the machine until about a deck has been dealt.

It's only day 2 and there have been backoffs. I don't know if they were counters or just winners. As a counter I wouldn't play those full tables at about 60 hands per hour.

Agree - sounds like the same MO as the Mirage.

Why would they waste time doing it ?
if they just offered shit playing rules no counter would ever approach these tables. And I’m fairly sure the CSM 6/5 tables are as much crowded as the manual shoe 3/2 ...
why even bother spend time identificating APers to BO them ?

You are assuming casinos make rational and intelligent decisions, which very seldom is the case.
You can ask billy zender about it.

Maybe their "logic" is something like this:

We only want chumps playing our game, so we will set a trap for all the counters and good players, then ban them. That way we only get the suckers action.

Not that it makes any sense
