Norm - Question about downloading CV Series

I just purchased a MacBook Pro and I think I’m going to purchase Parallels in order to run Windows. Once I do that, I want to download my CVCX, CVData, and CVBJ to the computer. My question is, do I need to purchase a CD reader adapter/dongle in order to do so, or is their a way I can download the software from Qfit and use a product key from my previous purchase?

Just download from qfit.com and ask for new license numbers.

Ryemo, I would suggest trying the Parallels two week free trial first to see if you can run these programs without any problems. I found Parallels to be extremely unreliable for running Qfit software...so much so that I went out and purchased a small Windows laptop during a trip. I've heard that VirtualBox is much more reliable but haven't bothered to download it since I've had my second laptop.

Yikes! I already purchased Parallels. One of my friends who has a MacBook uses Parallels, so that's why I went that route.

Hey Norm, I just purchased Parallels and downloaded CVCX, CVData, and CVBJA. Will I need a new license number or product key of some sort in order to fully operate the software?

FYI- you can also dual boot into Windows. If you did that, there is no chance of any incompatibility.

PS- don't you wish someone told you about VirtualBox??

I know lol. I decided to go with Parallels after looking at some reviews on YouTube comparing the two. Plus "Joe" (from GWAE) uses it on his Mac and he recommends it, so that's why I chose Parallels. I decided to get the one-time fee version. "Joe" has been using it and hasn't had problems.
