MGM Springfield opens 8/24 in MA

Anybody know what bj rules the casino will offer? I'm curious to know. Hopefully they will be on par with the PA casinos and offer 6D, DAS, LS, RSA, 3:2 with low table minimum. :-) Looking forward to it.

MGM Springfield will be a smoke free casino. Sounds good already.

I have it on good authority that 6:5 will be rearing it's ugly head at this casino. High limit will be the usual S17, 6 deck etc. In between those extremes will be the usual variety of H17 games. Re splitting aces has not been confirmed.

The main reason Mohegan Sun gives for going 6:5 is that MGM Springfield is going to have and it and they must "keep up". I know. I know. They can't even convince themselves.

Rather than speculate, I will be at MGM when the doors open at 11 AM and will post something that day. My focus will be on blackjack but, as I mentioned in another thread, if there's anything specific that anyone wants checked just let me know.
