    Well I guess it depends on how you view bankroll. If playing blackjack is your sole source of income then I can understand wanting to have more than 100 max bets behind.

    I've always used 100 max bets as my playing/trip bankroll but then again I don't play blackjack full time and my bankroll can always be topped up if need be.
