Anybody Play Poto Carter WI Lately

A few years ago on one of my ventures into WI, I stopped at the casino in Carter WI to check it out. I was impressed by their double deck game at the time and wanted to play it, but their lone table was full and everybody had big stacks of chips in front of them. They refused to open another table. They said some bullshit thing like they are only allowed to have one double deck game. Their 6 deck table was open and empty, but I didn't want to play 6 deck so I continued on to my final destination where there would be a lot of DD games.

Anyway what seemed like just a few years ago was actually in May 2014, and this was my report back then.
CBJN report for Potawatomi Northern Lights Casino (I) Carter, WI. Conditions as of 5/xx/14.
1 tables, 2 deck, pen 0.7, min $5, max $200, rules h17, ds, nrs, sc
    4 tables, 6 deck, pen 1.8, min $5, max $500, rules h17, ds, rs3,
    (Changes in Bold)

Now recently I was on Trip Advisor and noticed someone gave a one star rating on their blackjack games saying the rules changed on DD and they wouldn't be going back. So I checked the latest issue of CBJN and it appears it is only D9 now. I also noticed their hotel prices are outrages for being out in the sticks. Anybody have any updates on this casino?

PS. I know someone who is a non card counter who played there and got accused of card counting. All he knew is when a lot of little cards come out you have the advantage and he was accused of card counting. Heck, the guy is a non counter. So how is the heat at this place anyway?

You're looking at data from 4.5 years ago. Most likely outdated! Consider this: With most 21 rules going down the shitter, maybe understand that the DD is gone and that all shoes are 8D H17 at 10-20 bucks a pop.

OR: Go to the casino and check things out yourself! Scouting is something *YOU* should be doing. CBJN is a reference guide, not a GIS map! AP's are not going to give away juicy data to some rando on the internet. Nor are they going to do much as to post data on an open public forum.

Also, I would recommend not posting so much detail about your thoughts/actions. You will out yourself. OSN(Big Brother) is watching!

Not to sound harsh. I fear you are going to get yourself in trouble with casinos.

I have been to Wisconsin quite a few times in my life but I had never heard of Carter. I checked it out on Wiki. Who knew ANY part of Wisconsin was at 1,500 feet elevation?

The Huron Mountains in the U.P. of MI have an elevation of 1,979 feet. This is the highest point in MI.

The mouth of the Huron River in the U.P. is a great place to visit.

Do you play any casinos in the UP? I've heard it is scenic up there. Don't think I'd want to go between T-giving and April 1st.

I was stranded in the bull's eye of this storm for 3 days. Thank God I made it to shelter just as the storm was starting to hit.

Good point. I grew up in Chicago so I know April can be nasty but 24 inches of snow in mid April? Sounds like a fun commute.

So do you play much in the UP?

Believe me, this wouldn't be the best time to get an 86.
