    Philippines Casinos

Has anybody ever spent time in Philippines casinos?
I am planning a trip to the country for other purposes, but definitely intend on visiting some casinos as well.

What are the best ones? What games do they have? Are they dealing fair games? What are the blackjack rules? Are there hotels attached?

Let me know what intel you have!

Haven't spent any time there but I have heard tell that Manila is all CSM but that you might be able to find shoe games other places (I do not know where). If you find some other cities that do have shoe games I would love to know about them.

I find online scouting to be quite useful in foreign countries. You want to look for the biggest casinos, so the ones that have a lot of reviews in google maps are usually a good place to start. Also facebook can be a decent source of info, as they often have photos of the tables there.

They have very few BJ table and it is CSM, and oddly the hole card will be pull out after every one have finish their hand (H/S). This is on Solaire they only got 1 BJ table and almost 20-30+ Baccarat and 2 Craps table.

Similiar situation to Australia; BJ either has lousy rules or is CSM.

They offer Pontoon in the Phillipines, which is almost always the better game now. You'll have to read up on it, because it plays vastly differently than traditional BJ. Just watch out for rubbish pen on the shoes. Anything under 70ish percent pen wont be worth your time.

I have yet to see a single Pontton game that uses a CSM (yet).

These are the rules in okada and city of dreams. Solaire just recently implemented no surrender and H17(bad)

    6decks csm
    DAS
    ENHC OBO
    Bj pays 3:2
    Early surrender
    Double on any 2 cards
    Cannot resplit aces
    Cannot hit split aces

House edge is around .33% based on wizardofodds.

Thanks for the info dexsantos, although a modest correction, a game cannot be both ENHC and OBO. It is a one or the other type thing, like H17 and S17. Also, I presume you mean ES10?

In Australia? The only casinos that use CSMs on Pontoon are the Crown venues in Melbourne and Perth. And only on the public floor. Theres not even one CSM used in the high limit rooms, but the pit critters watch like hawks in there.

Crown can suck a fat one though.

I have played in five casinos in Manila and all the games are CSM. Also the dealer does not draw the second card until all the players have finished their hands. Dealers stand of soft 17. Lots of fool side bets. Not worth your time to play.

There are some decent poker rooms in Manila. But what about Cebu, Davao, or other major cities? Any shoe action for blackjack or pontoon?

actually registered here to ask if theres a non csm BJ table in manila. i generally play in okada being i have no choice and it has the lowest table limit compared to city of dreams or solaire. sadly i think all table games aside from baccarat are now csm.
