    Player card tolerance levels..

I normally do not look at account info when I swipe my players card at the casino machines. I assumed it would only contain my address and players card numbers. I swipe to check if there are any "daily deals" (usually a free buffet and/or table play coupon) and "offers" (gifts). Today, I nswiped my card and looked at the account info and they had 2018, 2017 and 2016. 2016 shows me having won $1800+, 2017 shows me having won $6k+. It does not show 2018 total but shows how much I have won to date and lists the other chain casinos and amounts I have won there. Its a bit over $4k.

At this casino, they know me (its a local one) so there is no question of playing unrated but I play both unrated and rated at its other casinos in Mo and IL.

I dont see any counter measures or additional heat yet. I have played longer sessions in the regular pit but have restricted myself to really short stints of no more than 30-40 minutes in the HL rooms.

I wonder what it will take for them to take counter measures or back me off. Any idea if they look at yearly totals? While my totals are small, cant they see that I am too consistent a winner or do they only care or wait for a cumulative total?

I was so shocked at seeing this info.

Many stores won’t even look at you until you hit a threshold. Depending on store, it might be 10k or 25k. Don’t use that as an excuse to play rated.

Freightman, this is a local casino and they have seen me for years. They never ask me for a players card anymore. They just put it in.

Same as me locally, for the most part. I hit thresholds everywhere. You hit it, and you’ll be gone.

Depending on the size of casinos. I have a friend. After a small win, when he was about to leave, the pit boss told him that the small win just put his total win exceeding five thousand dollars. He was told that the surveillance has marked him as a counter some time ago. When the total win exceeds 5K, the casino has the policy that he cannot play Blackjack any more. Never play rated if you are a counter. It makes tracking you super easy. And my friend is actually super conservative on spread. The casino only offers 6D shoe game. He spread $10 to $80 at $10 table and $25 to $125 at $25 table. So it takes years for him to reach $5K win. On the day he was banned for the life at this casino, he only spread 5 to 1 at $25 table. His ev is barely positive. But the casinos think any counter will take one seat from the ploppies.

It would be very useful to name the casino in situations like this.

If the casinos are afraid one is taking a seat from a ploppy, they should open more tables. I see a number of places where only a certain number of tables are open, but they are all full.
