    Using HiLo Indexes for Halves

I know 70 indexes for HiLo, but recently (past month or so) have been practicing halves. Right now I can accurately count down a deck using halves in about 25 seconds. I'm confident with it, but don't really want to learn the new indexes just yet. I just want to verify that keeping the count using Halves but using HiLo indexes is still going to be stronger than just using HiLo, but with the correct indexes. I know it will be in terms of betting correlation of course, but will it also be for playing efficiency?

    Thanks

    With halves v hi lo
Higher betting correlation, higher playing efficiency, (both hi lo and halves can be tweaked). Hi lo has a higher insurance correlation, but both systems can be tweaked.

One of the real beauties of going from hi lo to halves, is the fact that almost all indexes are the same. Most notable exception is insurance. Your typical area 6 deck game, which you know as hi lo at 3.0, is 3.4 for halves.
