It amazes me in this day and age how low some will stoop to impugn (at least in thier perspective) the integrity and reputation of another human being.

No one having an ounce of decency within them would create, or further, an alleged whisper campaign.

Why does having any operation disqualify a person from being a legend? A person won the good medal at the Olympics and had a gender change, they did not revoke the medal?

Your boss is showing. Are you a proud homophobic person?

30k is a nice solid part-time income. Please explain how that makes you a myth and/or legend?"
ummagumma. You are living up to your name by purposely ignoring my reality.
Earning a bit over 30K NET for a handicapped fellow who is in and out of hospital
and has WON impressive money before those 30K years. Many of my AP friends
have been to my country manse, purchased for cash, entirely with one year's
BJ winnings of > $250,000 in one glorious year. To put the cherry on top of this
sundae - 30K in how many hours is the only relevant question.

The Myth/Legend is a humorous reference to a COMEDIC movie. It is self-mockery.

However, if you are as limited as a Tea Party bible-slapper and take everything literally,

you are beyond hope. The "legendary" moniker refers to an interesting trip to play BJ at

"nosebleed stakes" at London's Private Casinos with a very famous, very wealthy professional

poker player, that many of us have watched on TV, taking me to London, after other Pros had

informed him that I was the "go-to guy" to be his quarterback, as I am an altruistic sort who

enjoys teaching and mentoring serious players and would accept only having my expenses

    covered.

I give lessons in modesty and humility - at reasonable rates. I don't believe Flash requires my assistance, though, he knows where to find me.

ZMF, please, stop living in the past. Given a choice, I would much rather have a few bible-slapping friends than some eccentric insecure old fart who has an inferiority complex compulsion that must be fed on a continual basis. Be careful with all of the good past history experiences you yourself preach, as there is a long recorded history of your past that sheds much more of a two-sided picture of both good and let's just say not so good, all described by you.

You couldnt have said it better, although there is no need to be secretive about it.
He is a well known long time degenerate gambler that one day learned how to count cards, and that's all he could learn.
Thats all good and he probably made some money from it.
Enough to cover his gambling losses?
Most likely not, if we go by the figures posted by the legend himself.

No way did he make up for his losses in those early years if we go by inflation. If you count inflation he really paid for his country manse, possibly two.

And according to his own post to start this thread, he is now returning to those degenerate horse racing and gambling days (if he ever left).

The money, he himself posted that he made, average of 30k yearly, is great. That is a good part-time income. Nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong with a recreational player. Everyone has different objectives. And if a player enjoys gambling (-EV) and he learns a technique like card counting and makes some money to cover those losses, nothing wrong with that either.

But what is with all this patting one on the back and self proclaiming "legend" crap?

It's self-inflicted sarcasm. I've been doing it all my life.

I do wish I could meet this legend Flash. I've already had email conversations with folks that have played at the same table with him.
