The girlfriend/wife is playing table min, while the guy usually plays more to show he can handle bigger action, which usually amounts to $15 to $25. Lol

Casinos make a lot of money from the alpha male ploppy trying to show off to his girlfriend/wife.
I was playing SP21 with a guy that wouldn't believe taking 25% of the 10 value cards out of the deck changed the plays. I said he was free to believe what he wants but until he knows better he should pick another game. His girlfriend started asking me for advise because she was smart enough to know it made a difference. He got up after a while because I think it pissed him off a little. I spotted him at the adjacent ante BJ table during one of the shuffles. His girlfriend left a winner. I don't think he had the same luck. It was a precious moment. This casino attracted the lower form of human and the ante BJ table was usually packed simply because it had lower limits.

    They're definitely that dumb
I was playing bj the other day and the guy at my table complained that some of the roulette wheels were getting a third zero

I said yeah that's horrible they do the same thing with 6:5 blackjack

He tries to explain to me that's it's different bc the third zero can make you lose but when bj pays 6:5 you still won the hand you just get paid less

Who says 6:5 is bad for APs?

Not me. We’re taking about ploppies. I play some 6:5 single deck, and been doing well at it. The reason I play it because I got a high SCORE with my spread from CVCX. I’ve found I can get away with a pretty big spread on 6:5 single deck.

You used to be able to spread table min to table max at 6:5.

Foxwoods has added 8 more 6:5 tables, 4 in the Great Cedar Casino and 4 in the Rainmaker Casino. They are installing a new side bet called Blackjack Match Progressive that requires new felts with the bet's logo on them. As they remove the old 3:2 felts, some are being replaced with 6:5.

I was just there last Friday, Rainmaker has only 5 3:2 BJ tables left,.and so does Great Cedar everything else are 6:5. Have you try to contact AL Roger for reporting CT for CBJN. You can get paid, since you visiting there often.

Someone else suggested that but not right now. I know where to find Al though.

What's odd about Foxwoods is that the three casinos that have 6:5 tables are on restricted hours while the Pequot Tower casino, which has no 6:5, is open 24 hours. Who knows how casino types think? Maybe they're they're still testing the waters.

I have been going foxwood since 2010's they took a big hit after the economy slow down, and PA competitons are pulling their customers. MS seem able to attract more visitors. The reason they making BJ tight is because the revenue drop, new CEO could also be a factor. The new leadership tend to do some new policy bad or good to establish his new authority.

I think you may be onto something here. A lot of Americans know that 6 is bigger than 3, but not too many understand fractions or ratios. And people who spend a lot of time gambling probably are worse-than-average at math.

I had thought that 1:1 was next, but I'm revising my forecast: 11:10 BJ coming soon to a casino near you.

    More likely 10:10.

Sure listen to some of these ploppies talk about things like:
Given a choice many prefer H17 over S17, and explain it by saying I stand with 15 vs a 6 up card and dealer, turns an ace and the hand is over when dealer stands and I lose, in a H 17 game, I may win the hand. Then say don't try to give advice when you do not know what you are talking about, and besides, I saw you last shoe pass on taking even money and the dealer had BJ. I knew you did not have a clue at that point as you turned down $15 of free money.
