    Meaning of short sessions?

A lot of folks talk about "short sessions" but what does that mean to you?

    1. Is a short session, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, an hour or two or? Does it depend upon the stakes you are playing at or it does not matter whether you are playing red or green or black? Does it depend upon time of day or casino conditions? That is, does it matter whether the tables are crowded or if you are playing heads up in an empty casino?

    2. Some say one should leave after showing their max bet, win or lose. Sometimes, you dont get to show your max bet as count never goes up high enough for several shoes and other times, you reach your max bet within 5 minutes of sitting down.

Lots of newbies and recreational counters could use advice on length of a session once they become regular winners. Instead of all the crap on some threads, maybe the pros here could advise on this topic about maintaining longevity.

Short refers to a lot of thing, not just time. How many big bet cycles you show. What your play and bet moves look like to the casino. I won't go into detail on that one. You either know what I mean or you don't.

It looks really bad to min bet for too long and then start betting big. At some point you have to consider that min betting more is bad because if you do get a good situation it just sticks out like a sore thumb. That is why wonging is important. Just think what your play looks like if you were watching. You need to play and bet in a way that makes you unsure. If things get to the point that you would be obvious your session is too long. A session that is not too long is a short session.
