The people I was referring to were Berrnie’s close friends and business associates. Not the investers. When he was under indictment, many vouched for him, saying he would never do this. They were as surprised as everybody else when it turned out Madoff was guilty and had scammed people. Did you spend anytime watching the news during this time?
My bigger point is we don’t know people as well as we think. I’ve had very good friends I’ve trusted that I later found out were not telling the truth. Remyo vouches for a lot of AP’s winnings, as if him vouching for them makes it true.
The points Remyo were making about Joe748 didn’t prove anything. Having a big rap sheet on OSN doesn’t prove anything other than Joe748 got caught a lot. Somehow Remyo thought this proves he made $400,000 in his first year.
I might be wrong but I do think there is a tendency to exaggerate winnings by some in the AP community. This probably occurs more with the younger crowd who need to impress their friends. I take their stories like fisherman stories. It probably happened but the fish probably wasn’t as big as they claimed.
Btw, I think my analogy was very good. The problem is you aren’t well read or informed enough to understand it. Probably because you've spent too much time in casinos.
There’s so much more evidence that adds to his credibility, but I obviously won’t be discussing it here. So believe what you want. It’s doesn’t affect me either way.
Here’s my final thought on this topic; you don’t know the whole story. You don’t know Joe and you’ve never met him. I have reasons to believe his story is true because I have a lot more information than you do regarding this topic. Your only source of information regarding Joe’s story is one GWAE episode and a just a couple posts he’s made here. Maybe you think Joe had motive to exaggerate his story, and that’s fine. But I sure don’t. Like I said, believe what you want,
