    1st card values

Can anyone tell me how the first card values, as stated by Griffin or Wong, were computed? By maths analysis or by sims?? And do they have to be adjusted for the HE of a particular game?

    E.g., Is an ace always worth 52% or (52% + HE) ??

    Serious replies appreciated,

Either way. CA works fine; sims too.

Values will change slightly according to rules, number of decks, etc. Are you looking for something specific or just a general answer? For example, it's pretty clear that the value of a first ace will change if you may resplit aces, no?

Thank you Don. Which of your suggested factors would most affect the values? Number of decks?
Can you suggest a source of info re how much the various factors affect these card values?

There's obvious interaction. The changes should be slight, but with all the rules variations, along with number of decks to start with, you just have to input the rules into the CA and see what it spits out.

I only know a couple of Dions. They are both women. So I guess it is an androgynous name.
