    Brisbane: Treasury Casino

Terrible game. All 6D CSM with D9. When I made a comment about how bad the rules were the dealer said “this is how original blackjack was played, not some Americanized version of it.” Lol

Yeah, unfortunately I think we "Australianised" it, not the other way around. Our games are terrible.

Hopefully, the poker action is top-notch.

I often wonder if it's because we don't have the fabled "86" law (regarding skilled players) that it is how it is, which is terrible. Would you agree? Or do you think it's because of the casino venue limitations that they can do whatever they please and monopolise on it? Or both?

It's much the same as anywhere else really. Poker is the one game that will never change.

There was no poker. That was one of the most depressing casinos I think I’ve ever been to.

Also are these the universal rules for BJ in Australia? I knew it was all CSM, but I thought you could at least DA2 in Crown?

At least they have shoes and some regular rules in New Zealand.

There is, on weekends. Pretty typical for smaller casinos here.

Did you notice other (bad) games, such as Australian Pontoon?

    BlackjackFeign,

Yeah, those CSM games were all over Las Vegas in the 30's and 40's... LOL!

Honestly the dealer was trying to get a rise out of me because I think he was pissed I was telling the players how bad the game was when I was considering playing before I realized just how bad the game was.
