    New Player Here

So me and a friend of mine just created our accounts here after seeing the community and input from players. Personally I've had an interest in advantage playing for a while and me and a friend were wondering about meeting up with other players and how we would go about collaborating with people in real life. We have moderate success in the last couple years and would like to learn more.

Most posters here are ambivalent re: meeting other players.

Many are outright opposed to it. I am a recently retired
Professional Player with 26 years of expert play in tow.
I volunteer to assist new players in learning to be STRONG
Card Counters and frequently meet up with students in my
home or in casinos ~ on the East Coast.

I am a new player as well.
I am in NYC. I work as an electrician and am interested in learning the game. I have taken a look in your media fire and retrieved "Blackjack Attack", 3rd ed. as well as books to read by 50. I used to play with just basic strategy. I have Norm's android apps, and am ready to purchase the desktop software. I feel like with re-drilling basic strategy, reading black jack attack, black belt in black jack and theory of black jack..*edit, as well as norm's book*I have a lot to do learning my fundamentals.

A question that I have is, have you formally practiced Zen?
I lived in a monastery for 8 months as well as practiced seated mediation, martial arts, and other bits of ritual for a good long time. Would be nice to have someone pointing as I go not to fall into wasting time or money.

    Best,
    V

It is apparent that someone gave
    vcelder1
    restricted information to access my
vast library of online gambling literature.

The result of that egregious violation of
trust is that the 68 students of mine who
have HAD access to my files no longer
do. Trusting blackjack players is almost
as bad as trusting poker players. Now
there are approximately five dozen peeps
    cursing your name.

Your a fucken idiot. You just burned your trust with everyone. Trust is very important between APs. It is the foundation of networking and team endeavors. Your first step here will cost you more than you can imagine. On little tidbit of info can be worth tens of thousands of dollars. So that will only be shared with those that can be trusted not to share it with anyone but will reciprocate when given the chance.

I apologize to anyone who I may have offended.
Years ago I had filled out my profile page here
and never again looked at it. I have no memory
of listing any web page as it had no meaning to
    me.

I was referring to MY online A.P. Vault which has
never had any affiliation with this site. For a very
    brief
time I had had a registered "mediafire" account that I almost never used.

When you see two mistakes in four words you can bet they were intentional. He owned being a offing idiot.

    ZMF,

If you check the Link its actually *LINK REMOVED*
%20 is unicode for an extra space. If you remove the %20, the link will work to*LINK REMOVED*

    As for other comments:
I didn't break anyone's trust. I paid close attention to detail to information that was given out publicly. If this was inadvertent, which was stated that it was, then something useful was accomplished, and said information can be removed.

Vcelder1, since you are a newbie here, you can be forgiven for this, but it was obvious Flash didn't want public access to this. It would have been better to just email him and explain how you found this information. Sometimes we post something that is not appropriate, but on second thought always can delete it. The first link you posted did not work for me, but the second one did and I did see a list of a lot of Flash's information. I didn't bother to review it, I just took a quick look. I think you should delete the link to Flash's information unless Flash says it is okay to leave up.

And for Flash. Since you are now retired from blackjack would it be so terrible to share this information with the blackjack community. It appears you have already shared it with 68 folks so it can't be to sensitive. Of course, I respect what ever you wish. I really didn't look at any of it. I just saw a bunch of information there.

I am sorry but I am not following what is going on here. Vcelder1 does not strike me as an idiot. He actually was able to figure out the correct web address that Flash had on his own profile. The website is in fact public information that FLASH shared.

I do think that FLASH has some explaining to do and he can start by stating whether or not he had permission from all these authors to share pdfs ( that seemed to be actual scan of hard copies) with others. Unless there is a reasonable explanation, that seems to be violation of copy rights.

He removed the links so I'll give him a pass. Deleting his posts entirely would have been better.
