On this forum, you gotta wait for the answer to your question. The thread goes in different directions and on the 3-5th page, there is an answer somewhere.

I played there a couple weeks ago. They do have suffle machines, but the dealer dealt the cards. This is how it was at a couple of the DD tables I played.

soo funny.. csm is probably easily beatable if single deck, and beatable in double deck. basically you know the cards on the table from last round are not coming out the next two rounds.

I wasn't aware they do > 1 round cycles with CSM's. Is that true? I don't play CSM's (for obvious reasons,) but the ones that I had played in the past were 1 round-to-cycle. Meaning, after the dealer draws and resolves hands, they 'burn' the cards back into the shuffler.

I was recently in Nova Scotia (beautiful province, wonderful people, terrible casino) and it was all 6D CSMs. They would play one deck and then recycle the discards. Interestingly, they had one of those huge video BJ games. It claimed to deal 2/3 of a 6D shoe before 'shuffling'. I didn't stick around to figure out how you can tell if that's the case, but if it is, while crappy, its much less crappy than an CSM dealing 1/6 of a shoe.

I concur on all three points.

Perhaps someone in the area can confirm this for us?
I was in there recently and can confirm that exactly what you heard is true. I believe I saw three tables that had CSMs, but everything else looked the same. When I say "looked the same" though, I have to add that I`m not in there much. So I don`t know exactly what those tables were before they had CSMs on them. To clarify a little bit though, I did still see both DD and SD games.

Because they have outstanding game protection, throwing out any player raising a bet from $5 to $10 that happens to conincide with some small cards coming out.

Not sure what was wrong with the pit a couple months back, but I was spreading 1-3 in green on SD, and 1-4 in green on DD for three consecutive days.

I just got back from a visit to the sweaty Spaniard. I found 2 tables with CSM's attached, in a quad-table pit with two other hand-shuffled tables. The remaining tables were unaltered (same rules/game offering we're accustom to).
