I saw a man playing a stack of purple and orange chips at his table then he went to the buffet table for some food and forgot to put the chips back to his pocket and left the chips unattended on the edge of the table. It is a cheap buffet. Most customers only saw red and green chips before. I finished my meal and his table is just on my way to the exit ...

All I got to say is I hope you didn't steal his money. I had my chips stolen in a casino once.

OMG, that was my chip. I'll even describe it for you.

Most I ever found was $200, in a casino restroom.

Most I ever lost was $1K. I was a rank amateur, and didn't have a good system for storing my money, so I had it hid in several places. I get home, and I'm short. It's gone.

Several months later, I'm packing for another trip and grab a hard shelled glasses case. Lo and behold, inside was my lost money. Still don't remember putting it there.

Here's a hint for other rookies... if you buy some cheap hair ties (they look like small rubber bands, found in the hair aisle for holding braids) one small band holds $1000 folded. I now only start with a clean $1000 on a session. I don't buy in for that much, but I always start with $1000. When I leave, it's easy to know what exactly I won or lost. If I have to buy in again, I grab another bundle. The rubber bands slide on my finger until I leave, and serve as a marker.

$200. I remember finding $50 on the ground when I was a young 'un and my dad took it for himself and bought a carton of beer with it haha.

    Fosters, no doubt.

It was Carlton Draught iirc. No one drinks Fosters brand here. It's actually more popular in the UK, namely Scotland. It's odd that those outside of Australia still think we chug Fosters like water, when the general consesus here is that it tastes like stagnated piss.

Sounds very much like what us Canucks think of Yankee beer - piss water.

NOTE: At least in the U.S.A. it is definitively unlawful
to pick up cash, chips, etc. from the floor, trash, etc.

Yes, people have been arrested for this utter predation.

It's worse than that. Apparently, Fosters has some chemical in it that gives you a headache for 3 days. I tried it once 20 years ago...never again. I was glad to see it go. Carlton Draught and Fosters are now owned by the same company based in Belgium. I remember Cascade was not too bad though.

By the way, I found a black chip under the table once and handed it to the dealer. Apparently, a player had complained of being short $100 sometime before I arrived. The pit boss thanked me for my honesty and I had a nice win that night.

I knew a guy in a wheelchair that amassed his poker bank from the floors of the baccarat rooms.

It's their marketing. Lots of TV commericals for Foster's pretending that it's the Aussie's version of Budweiser.
A few years ago, I went to a beer tasting at a bar in Woolloomooloo and when someone asked about Fosters, the bartender laughed and said Aussies don't drink it.

You must have missed the hundreds of craft beers in a number of US cities well-known for them. BTW, I haven't had a Molson in 30 years...

Freightman reveals himself to be living in 1987 with such outdated nonsense.
