    Australia is a sad state of affairs when it comes to blackjack. Have the rules always been this bad? Also isn’t Crown trying to get a second Casino in Sydney?

    Laws that enforced "fairer" games would do the trick. It's crazy that some BJ games here have HEs that are nearly 1% CSM garbage but nobody gives a shit about it..
    Shutter odds mean people lose their money faster, are less entertained, and therefore, not as likely to return.

    No, now is about as bad as it's ever been. Even the small casinos that were honey pots have wisened up.

    Yes Crown has plans for a casino in Sydney. Is it worth getting excited over? No, as they'd push their scummy rules from the outset.

    We need MGM on the Gold Coast asap..

    Yet casino profits and turnover haven't changed, only increased.

    When your only choice as a ploppy punter is either playing some horrible crap or nothing at all, you choose the latter.

    I do not know what the term ploppy punter means, but Bushie, you yourself sound like one smart man.

    Punter = gambler. It's Aussie/English slang.

    Hardly. I'm mostly pissed that I'm just about out of options in this country for profitable BJ. Might have to start up a stall and sell Hawaiian T-shirts for a crust..

    I am traveling to Melbourne coming weekend. I hope I could find a few non-ASM shoe games.

    Most of us prefer that you use English
    without vernacular idioms from Oz.

    Does crust stand for the first or last slice of a loaf of bread?
