    A quote riddle

I am paraphrasing a quote from a popular Blackjack book. The author said something like "I have won 100s of dollars on this game." I am away from home and do not have my book with me. Unfortunately I'm also with another AP and we are having a raging debate as to the author of this quote. Dinner is riding on it. Can anyone help?

Sounds like my brother in law, who write the classic "I made a $100 at Real Estate"

Yes, that's correct, but it isn't Peter who wrote it. It's part of the liner, or notes on the back of the book: "Griffin's winnings are rumored to run into the hundreds."
