Index in Red7 (Bug in CVindex)

    There are two "Red 7"

    1) all 7 counted 0.5

    ScreenShot088.jpg

    2) red 7 counted 1

    ScreenShot087.jpg

Index generated by CVData are VERY different.
    Why ?

CVDATA is not as good generating indices for counts with .5 tags that are unbalanced. I tried it with other count system and the SCORE didn't turn out well.

    RED/BLACK seems worse.

With 0.5 tags indices are at least consistent with Arnold Snyder's compromise indices.
And doubling all tags and IRC gives results multiplied by 2 (logical)

(A detail but 15 vs A was not previously generated and kept from the original strategy. My bad)

Either I'm wrong somewhere in my setup, or RED / BLACK is defective.

Just a note Arnold Snyder's advanced red seven count was based on half shoe playing indices with double indices sets. The simple red seven only consist of six playing indices. The advanced red seven doesn't have one set of indices for the whole shoe.

    Definitively a bug in CVIndex.

With "Black 7" shift is roughtly symetrical
    Second is OK

I didn't even notice that the Red Seven strategy was changed in Casino Verite. In older versions of Casino Verite the Red Seven strategy are double set strategies.

I think that a double strategy is not worth it.

Norm, I sent you a mail about the bug.

What is the answer from Norm? Is it a bug?
I too find that there is a huge discrepancy between 0.5 seven and red 1 black zero indices generated by CVdata.
