Not to blow my own trumpet, but I probably had a bit of a hand in that.

I was finally countermeasured there about 3 months ago, which probably gave management a bit of an eye-opener at just how exploitable their game was. And that was just with a sub-optimal level 2 count with a few indices.

Yeah over about a 8-9 month period. I was expecting it towards the end though, so I did alright to last that long.

Talmadge, I take it the CSMs are only on the low-limits on the public floor? Or have they gone the whole hog and slapped CSMs on every table?

I checked on the main gaming floor and every table was CSM. They made the change last wednesday.
Only one bj shoe game too as they used to have a couple.

Yeah the back pit was all CSM too. They said that all the pontoon was entirely changed over to 6D CSM just last wednesday.
No rush to reply, just whenever is suitable for you is cool.

Had you been sequencing aces, you would have stuck around longer as I have, although sequencing becomes even more obvious than counting for the pit once you begin keying in all aces (24-32 pairs of cards preceding aces in 8-decks Pontoon).

Country Club casino didn't have many Pontoon tables, except in weekends. Is this tiny joint all CSMs too?

3 months more or so, probably. Not that it matters now if it's all CSM.

No idea. It's been a while since I was there but the weekend Pontoon tables were hand shuffled at the time. I'd wager that they'd be CSM now too if Federal has nuked Wrest Point with CSMs..

Thanks for the quick response. Wrest Point has one BJ shoe open in weekends, so I am assuming that one would find at least one shoe game (either BJ or Pontoon) at the Country Club as well. As long as I could find one 5 dollar shoe game at the Country Club over weekends, I would be okay.

Indeed. It's all CSM apart from one lonely hand shuffled $15 BJ table. The CC might be worth checking out, but only on weekends as it's very quiet every other time. Plus the rooms are quite cheap in the quieter winter months as well.

Let's hope that they still have those hand shuffled $5 Pontoon tables still! Otherwise its either Canberra or freakin' Darwin..

Canberra uses 4-deck CSM I believe, though its house edge is the lowest. Darwin doesn't offer Pontoon, but Alice Springs may have some low limit Pontoon tables. For BJ tables, they all usually have CSMs, but there are seasonal/managerial changes and they switch from CSM to shoe out of nowhere.

Queensland? Cairns? Darwin BJ?

I can key in all aces. Until recently, I could only memorise all aces for 2 or 3 shoes and my brain would start hurting. Now my mental endurance has improved which has also given me confidence to play those high limit $ 50-100 shoe games in the public VIP rooms at Crown. Key cards preceding aces have an amazing cohesiveness if you could memorise all aces you see on the table and repeat this process for atleast 5-6 shoes.

Sorry to bump an old thread but how many decks is the hand shuffled game at wrestpoint. Thats if they haven't changed it to CSM as well!

The last time i was there was March and the only shoe game that they had was 6 Decks. I'm not sure if they have switched that over to CSM
