Semantics! For me it was preferential, I preferred that they shuffle. They shuffled as a courtesy.

Things would sure have gotten interesting had Moses been seated at the table.

Why would you bother to do that?

I found a dealer who shuffled every time I raised my bet. It was hilarious. Costing them in lost revenue is almost as fun as costing them in EV.

No it’s not semantics. A courteously shuffle is harmless when players want it.

A preferential shuffle is when they’ve identified you as a counter and will shuffle everytime you raise your bet to get you to leave.

Au contraire Bubbles. In your example, the dealer spotted the shark circling the table.

I would think it would be positive EV if the dealer shuffles every time you raise your bet. You don't have to wong out, you flat bet $100, raise the bet when count goes negative, they shuffle the negative deck.

Dunno if it's positive, but it's a hoot.

Normally, I'd be delighted to answer this relatively simple question. However, I note the huge addition of unhelpful comments to my tally. Clearly, my opinions are not wanted or desired. So, if I will err, I will do so on the side of caution, and decline to answer.

Though, my humble opinion, not to be construed as an answer - not a bad idea. Combine with comps, might just have a winner.

The idea is to raise your bet by a certain multiple or a certain amount when the count goes negative and force a shuffle. If the player can dictate when a shuffle is to occur they will clean up very nicely.

Interestingly enough, 7 or 8 additional unhelpful since yesterday, likely more, since offset by some fans. Probably closing in on 50, since my tussle started with the Hi Opt Brigade.

I'm currently, 299/432. If I continue the campaign, should be able to hit 325 by the end of the week. Any one want to wager?

Anyone want to proffer FBM ASC success stories?

The people who are not your fans see that you have an Achilles Heel problem by giving you negative votes. Get over it, or do not be a paid suscriber.
