    run-time error 71

    Sitting down to practice and this popped up. I restarted my computer and same result. Quickly checked the archives and tried launching Drills first. To no avail, same error. I purchased with the download.

    Advice?

    False alarm...I opened CVCX and it worked then tried CVBJ and it now works. I know. That's voodoo. You may as well drag this to the voodoo lair...

    Intermittent "Disk not ready" implies to me an impending hard drive failure. It would be odd if this only happened when running CV.

    I would back up everything important ASAP and, if you start getting this with other programs, you should look into getting a new drive or computer.

    Thanks Gronbog...the machine is showing its age...time to go to the (Back to the) Future Shop and see if I can buy a box of floppy disks...
