    Cool 8 deck blackjack

I would like to know if someone can tell me the betting ramp using halve kelly with a 10K bankroll when I am only able to play 8 decks BJin which 50% of the cards are dealt before shuffling.

    Rules are:

    • Dealer stand on soft 17/ Player can DAS / Player can double any 2 cards / Player can split up to 4 x / Player can not re-split Aces / Player loses only original bet against BJ / No surrender allowed.
    • table limits, 5 - 15000

    My approach:

    • Using High - low count / 10K BR / move out at TC -1 / Applying halve Kelly!

    My questions:

    • How many hands are dealt per hour on average in 8 deck shoe with 50% penetration?
    • How many + Ev situation will occur on average per hour?
    • What should be my win/100 hands?

    Add on remarks:

I have downloaded try out calculators wishfully can add my own criteria and see the outcomes of it, but if everyone can help me here as a start up that would be greatly appreciated.

The game you reference is patently unbeatable. It's only function is to transfer your bankroll to the casino as quickly as possible.

It is not that bad. He Wong out at TC -1. He will have a lot of watching but very little playing.

That game is absolute rubbish. Penetration is the key. One of the most important factor of the game. You might as well play online with these kind of rules.

Is this a live dealer game? If so, why not play one of the 75% penetration games instead?

I actually have done some sample simulations today and seen that using by example high opt 2 and leaving at true -1 using 10 units at 2 ad 20 at 4 or or higher gives me 18+ an our. I have no problem with level 2 or 3 counts either.

But really online life casinos dealing 75% of the deck? Where can I find that?

    Thanks for all your input!

What you are describing is a tough game. 8 S17, DAS, No surrendering and No RSA. Using straight counting and in a brick and mortal casino I would find games with deep penetrations, find fast dealers, and backcount or use wong out method. If you can find an online casino that dealt deep and you can play multiple tables at once you can get in more hands per hour. With 50% cards being dealt out this is an unplayable game. Unless you can find some other vulnerabilities.

Again I think being patient being able to play either wonging or like I mentioned before it is beatable.

    Wonging example!

Everything can be beaten spread the basket and count 2 tables at the same time.

For me I trust computer simulations in a way I can set up my own rules I play by.

    0,0,0,0,0,0

    Find another game.

I would add that, IMHO, any 8 deck game with more than one deck behind the cut card in penetration and without late surrender is unplayable primarily due to extreme variance.

Give thought to the fact that sometimes you win by not playing.

Ignore any sim results for this game. It's not playable. Penetration is key and with 8D you want much deeper pen.

I know of two online live dealer casinos with 75% penetration, email me at canadianliberty at hotmail dot com for more info.

I would not be playing at an illegal underground casino regardless of the penetration, but definitely not with 50% cut.
