Im also a propent of finding the game with largest edge like RS mentioned. I've found my play as a counter in tolerant casino's has limited my ability to play other table games with an advantage in these casinos.

When I go to a casino new to me, blackjack is the last game I will play after looking for other opportunities.

Well, then you won't see the potential value of this post. Why pick an arbritary number like 2000 posts. Why not, for example 419 posts. How many posts do you have? 419, you say!. Guess I should put you in ignore.

I have a couple currently on my ignore list. May be time to expand it, again.

I didn't even know there was such a thing as internet forums, let alone blackjack, until I stumbled across Norm's products and he told me about it. I thought it was a pretty cool idea to be able to talk to others that compete.

However, I don't know quite what to think about trolls, using different names, etc etc. Where I come from there is no hiding. What you see is what you get! You either bring it or you don't. Perhaps, a mantra you should push is "don't say anything on the forum, you wouldn't be willing to say to someones face." I can tell you, first hand, that is how it's done in a casino. Yes, I can get on someone with a red ass in a big damn hurry. But I'd rather not.
Happen to notice your number of posts trimmed back to just under 2000, hmmmm,

What I think Joe is saying is:

    When you say:

"Perhaps, a mantra you should push is "don't say anything on the forum, you wouldn't be willing to say to someones face." "

    Seems sort of strange Moses.

Ustonzen, this is as good as time as any to say that I am sorry that I was tough on you about your gaming trip. I just want everyone to win, and how much I despise casinos management personnel. I hate it when a member makes a big mistake and pays for it.

I love you brojangles. It was an expensive lesson but the money made sure the lesson wasnt lost - could have been a disaster, but now im motivated to have my game on lock and keep it locked the entire time.
Ill celebrate when i get back ....hopefully

Excellent post, Stealth. And, I know you've said this before, but Networking is also key. I've learned all the things I know on your list above from people I've met in person. One from your Team, even :-) There are times when I walk into a store and can't play my game of first choice, but can usually still walk out with some dough based on what you're mentioned in your post.

    Cheers, bud.
