    On Twitter as "Blackjack_Innovator"

Anybody have thoughts or insights on a guy who has a Twitter handle of @jaflynn34, calling himself "Blackjack_Innovator" ? Has a bunch of YouTube videos.

From what I've seen, he demonstrates basic card counting skills and drills. Nothing innovative.

I think he’s a below-average card counter who uses weak spreads and incorporates voodoo into his game.

He makes YouTube videos trying to teach other aspiring APs, but the irony is that he’s very much a novice himself. He seems to lack very fundamental concepts to card counting and puts more trust into intuition, as opposed to computer simulations.

In my opinion, he’s nothing more than a “ploppy counter.”

I've seen some fairly lame blackjack related YouTube videos made by people who think they're a whole lot more qualified than what they really are, reinforcing the very correct statement that casinos have nothing to fear from card counters, and on the whole will profit from them. The general public appears to have a hard time differentiating between someone that knows what they're doing and someone that doesn't and there's some seriously voodoo stuff out there on the internet. I'm not familiar with who you're talking about here, but I've seen some things on YouTube that make me think of that movie, "Idiocracy".

It’s sad, because if you type in the keyword “blackjack” into YouTube’s search bar, you’re going to get flooded with nothing but nonsense and garbage. A large portion of that garbage will come from Michael Morgenstern and Justin Flynn, AKA Blackjack Innovator. I think there’s well over 200 videos just between the two of them cumulatively, and most of it is just utter nonsense.

I feel bad for anyone trying to learn blackjack by starting with YouTube, lol. It’ll be an uphill battle from the getgo.

That may not be a bad thing for us

Every person's stomach morgenstern turns is one less future reason to give shitty rules, bad pen, and pit perspiration

And the kind of people he does attract are sure to dump enough money into the tables to keep the balance sheet from turning managements stomach

We've yet to see any of these clowns wearing their "army gear" on our travels. It'll bring much comedy when we do see it.

Funny, I logged on here to find out similar info on this guy. I follow him and in some of his videos, he explains a lot of math behind the game. Hope he does more though. He also has some great skills in counting down a deck using hi- lo.... can do it in like 15 seconds and tell you what the last card is! He obv studies and practices a lot. Waiting for him to release more on what he invented called Visions, which seems to be a way to incorporate advantage play using your intuition.

All in all, time will tell. He seems very legit, so keeping my fingers crossed.
