He can beat this shit game, but he needs to be able to withstand variance, and needs bankroll to do it.
    One last point
Count system doesn't matter if it's not being utilized properly. A far stronger count can be imp, emended with essexntially the same results.

Accirdingly, by indpference, OP is fairly new, needs seasoning and direction..

I'm so disappointed that our canada is f ucking killing and destroying both poker and countable BJ in favor of baccarat right now.Yeah, I'm seriously thinking about moving to vegas for poker and occasional BJ(currently banned from MGM properties)

Im now certain i know where you are, or reasonably so. You're close to the US border, with playable dd, shoe, and lots of badly played Spanish 21. Consider some day trips.

Also, get a nexus card, so that you can get through the border crossings quickly, instead of facing the occasional long waits.

The DD game you describe sounds like a game that every time you think you are getting something going they shuffle the cards and you think if only they would deal a few more rounds... I wouldn't play this game. Look to the shoe games and you might find something far more attractive. Playing underfunded on the game described means you will almost certainly wipe out your BR.
I've actually done reasonably well with those shit games. There's enough info in the posts for me to know where he's from.

There are 2 locations in the metro area with playable 6 deck cut 4.5 to 5.0/6.
He's also close to Yankee land with plenty of places.

The reason why I can bet big on these crappy DD games is I used to be a clueless donkey BJ CSM player. So I have an addictive gambler image in these stores. But I only played like two nights in Bellagio without counting anything on $100 min table last April and was backed off after a huge loss of $4.5k. What these idiots are?

Believe me, they did ban counters before whether you play DD or shoe games.

I know, but they are reasonably tolerant.

Shoe games are few and far between and sometimes not even open until late in the evenings.Somehow I got a feeling these greedy casinos just want to replace them with all CSMs. One store already did just that.

Vegas is the right place for both poker and BJ counting.I think I'm going to mix and play poker on the strip and BJ off the strip in some small stores.

When i finally have the chance to play headsup with the dealer, i only switch to two hands on TC+6 and bet about 75% of one hand. Is there anything fundamentally wrong with my play(1-6 spread with two hands of max $200 each). I'm so frustrated right now after such a huge swing and variance during such short period of time. Should i learn halves or hiop2 with ASC? Is this shitty game really worth it? Should i quit BJ and continue FULL time poker instead?
The problem is H17 and 50% penetration. Try to find 66% penetration if you can only find H17 game. Or increase spread to nine to one at least. (Preferably ten to one.)

He won't get any better than 50% pen in this marketplace, but he can spread a lot more than 1-10.

The potential problem for OP is that he had no heat because the pit boss knows he is playing a losing game. Once he spreads 10 to 1, the pit boss will give him heat because now he could win theoretically.
