    CVData - Advanced Betting Strategy

On the Advanced Betting Strategy, if it is set for two hands, how does the software determine if the last hand was won or lost? What happens if one hand wins and the other loses, one hand pushes and one loses, etc?

Hands Won / Lost is irrelevant.

It is relevant for cover. It looks at the total for the round. This can be altered somewhat with the Last Hand button options.

The question is in regard to how the software determines the size of the next bet. For instance, if it is set for 2x10 and after a loss, goes to 2x6, what would happen if I won one hand and lost the other? Is my next bet set to 2x6 (I always keep the same amount on both hands)? When I play, if the count is positive and I win one hand and lose the other I generally maintain the original bet - in this example I would stay with 2x10.

    Sorry for the confusion.

Ok, thanks. So a win and loss would net out and leave the bet unchanged I assume?

If you win one and lose one, it is considered a tie. When there is a tie, the action depends on the Last Hand Table. Click the Last Hand button. In the table, there is a row for Tie. Click on the cell for count<pivot or count=>pivot. (Pivot would be a count of zero in balanced systems.) You can set the cells as follows:

Ø Won – This will force the Last Hand Status to Won. This means that the Won rows in the Bet Table will be used in bet size determination.
Ø Lost – This will force the Last Hand Status to Lost. This means that the Lost rows in the Bet Table will be used in bet size determination.
Ø Last Bet – This will force the next bet to be the same as the last bet. The Bet Table will not be used for this condition. For example, Last Bet in the Tie row will force the bet to remain the same after a push.
Ø Last Hand Status – This is a null action. The actual previous hand's status is used.
