Angry Australian Pontoon with weird rule of dealer standing on H16 and S17. Beatable?

    Hi,

Over where I am situated. BJ are all dealt from CSM > uncountable unless you looking at clumps of last 16 cards with RC > 5 for 0.04% EV. However they do offer Pontoon hand dealt from shoes.
    8D
    Penetration ~7/8D
Dealer stand on Hard 16 and Soft 17!
Double on only first 2 cards
    Doubled Aces counts as 1
Late Surrender on Dealer X and Ace
    Double Rescue
SP3 up to 4 hands except Aces
Aces can only be split once and only one card is drawn
Split hands qualify for Bonus but not Super Bonus
All cards totally 21 are paid immediately including Pontoon.

    Bonus 3:2 for 5 cards 21; unsuited 678 and 777
    Bonus 2:1 for 6 cards 21: suited (except spades) 678 and 777
    Bonus 3:1 for 7 cards 21 and spades suited 678 and 777

Super Bonus: Suited 777 and dealer upcard 7
    Bet between $25~99: $1000
    Bet above $100: $5000

The strange thing about the rules is dealer standing on Hard 16. Is this version of Pontoon beatable by counting?

Apologies. My error on reading. It says " Dealer draw to Hard 16 and Soft 17". It should be similar to the game offered in Australia and according to the book by Katrina Walker, it is beatable.

    Merry Xmas to all.

    Note:

    In North
America, the "Super Bonus" is $5,000 with a bet of $25 or more, not at $100. VERY few players bet at the 'black' level (understatement).

Doubles limited to the initial two cards AND crippled
Aces make this game too difficult to exploit. The House
    Edge is radically increased.
