86ed in Las Vegas recently. Trespass questions

In a Vegas casino recently after playing I was on my way out and security stopped me and asked for ID. I refused and he said he was 86ing me. I don't think they knew my name, I was playing anonymous and rarely play in that casino. We were walking out and after he read the trespass he then said "you're also 86ed from all the sister properties out here." and listed them off.

Is that 86 for all the other places legitimate?
There's so many casinos out there I don't remember all the sister properties. Does this mean if I did accidentally go into a sister property they would arrest me?
If they want to arrest how can they prove you're the same person who was 86ed years ago, can they do that just by looking at an old photo?
How common are arrests for trespassing in casinos and has it happened to anyone here?
If they do arrest you for trespass and call the cops whats that process?
Do they take you outside write you a ticket and let you go or take you to jail?
If you're from out of town do you have to fly back out there and go to court?

I a bit worried about this because I have a common look and am often mistaken for other players. A lot of casinos think I'm this other guy named Sam who has been backed off a lot.

Understand this us not professional legal advice, see my comments below your questions

    1. Doesn't the sound like it was in writing - no
    2. The corporate ownership setup would need to be udentical. Different share structures and shareholders - no

Which means they didn't give it to you in writing. It's no longer a megalomaniac trespass. Further, they must give you an opportunity to leave the property voluntarily. No, they can't arrest you (legally)

If they want to arrest how can they prove you're the same person who was 86ed years ago, can they do that just by looking at an old photo?

See prior comments. Put Bob Nersesian's cell number on your cell phone speed dial.

    Don't think it's that frequent.
If they do arrest you for trespass and call the cops whats that process?
Don't know, but seems to be a legal mess that casinos should avoid, since the trespass was verbal VS. Written.

Do they take you outside write you a ticket and let you go or take you to jail?

    Don't know

If you're from out of town do you have to fly back out there and go to court?
I would assume so, though I'm sure a lawyer can appear on your behalf. You nave some legal remedies which may be good, depending on the actual facts.

Since you're not Sam, don't worry about it.

As I understand it, you can only be barred from sister properties with the same ownership. In this day and age many chains of properties have different ownership or ownership coalitions.

I've heard BobN talk about this. A simple security guard has no status at sister properties. Unless it was a manager with some corporate title, the trespass can't apply to other properties. However, that doesn't mean they can't arrest you. They can arrest you for chewing gum. Then you have to defend yourself it court (or get the DA to drop the charges).
