    Question Is this game profitable?

There's a promo on video bj that has an interesting promo that I am unsure about.

Its listed as having 99.58% RTP so .42% HE
6 deck, DAS, Double on any card, no peek no surrender

    The promo has two parts:
If you win ahand with 5 cards cards or more you get paid twice (e.g. $15 back on a $5 win, including stake)
If you lose 10 hands in a row, you get 20% of the money lost on those 10 hands back.

The closest thing I've managed to find is the Charlie rule but I'm not sure how closely the BS deviations are for that and this promo.

If anyone has any idea as to how to go about working out if it is profitable and the BS deviations with it I would be extremely grateful.

    Cheers
    Sef

This really begs, the question ...
Can you bust a hand on purpose?

And how much can you bet once you have lost 9 in row.

Has to be the same.... I was thinking to just play 5 hands at a time to increase variance and chance of losing 10 in a row...

I was more interested in the first part of the promo - does anyone have any idea how much this cuts the HE down by?

Say you have a 17 with 4 cards and the dealer is showing a 3 upcar d in a negative deck, perhaps hitting is an option?

    I will do this :-

    1) bet $1000 in round 1, if lost, then next 9 rounds bet $1 each and bust all those 9 rounds purposely

    2) If win $1000, repeat 1) above.

    LOL

Sorry didn't clarify in the OP, all stakes have to be the same throughout the 10 hands lost.

EDIT - @James also assumes that you don't get dealt a BJ in the following 10 hands if you were to do something like that

There would definitely be a BS adjustment

https://wizardofodds.com/games/black...ategy/charlie/ - this is BS that makes you an automatic winner at 5 cards and there are some wild plays. Not sure how to adjust it to this promo though..

If you already lost 9 hands(all stakes have to be the same throughout the 10 hands), then maybe you have to bust your last 20 points hand purposely. It is because you will lost 9 units when dealer push your 20 points.

    LOL
