    CVINdex A7 vs A

By separately generating S17 and H17 tables, index are +1 and "Alway Hit"
By simultaneously generating the 2 tables index are both +1

Standing on (all T.C.'s) A-7 vs. Ace is good cover play,
just like standing on (all T.C.'s) with 16 vs 10.
Just do not imagine that you can extend the standing
to A-7 vs 9 or 10. That would be costly.

    Yes.
But I'm talking about CVindex behavior.
    Why such a difference ?

Well its safe to say +1 is the Stand index for S17 and ALWAYS Hit is for the H17 game..

And by Simultaneously do you mean youve checked different indexes for H17 vs S17? If so, check your playing strategy charts, becuse the +1 is def. for the S17 game...The Count has to be etremely high to stand in a H17 game..

    I use "Table Sets" option.

And "Report" display only S17 table.

When You Attach Your "playing strategy" look into the "Affecting Options" field box and check to see if H17 is checked..You should then be able to veiw your H17 indexes...I know Cvdata can be little tricky to figure out sometimes...

    I try it.
    Same result.
I can view H17 index but it's same as S17

Same behavior with others soft index (Double or H/S)
CVIndex don't generate H17 and copy it from S17
No problem with Hard, split or Surrender.

I See what you mean by the unpredictable behavior..Sometimes it will generate a separate set of indexes and sometimes it wont..Not sure whats going on..It seems to behave differently betwwen "user vs. included strategies" the "indexes in question" and or creating your own "Playing Strategy file." Might try some more "problem solving" later.. I'll let you know if i find anything..

    Answer from Norm
Apparently this isn’t supported for soft-doubles. You’ll need to run that separately and add it.

For information, CVIndex ignores other differences including hard hands.
So simply do not use this option.
