    Casino Buy Out

When a casino buys another casino is the "heat" right before the buyout less than normal. My thinking goes like this. Casino A is buying Casino B. They want everything to go smoothly so they don't put any heat on the players. Also since some employees might be losing their jobs, it might just be possible they don't give a damn anymore. Does anyone think it might be a good time to make a trip with a pending casino sale.

I'm thinking Ameristar casino in Kansas City. It is to be bought by Boyd in second half of 2018. Any thoughts? Would it be best to go before the buyout or after? Maybe it doesn't matter at all.

MWP - A contrarian perspective (go figure on this forum).

What if you have some suck-up dealers and low level floor personnel who believe that they can impress the new management by increasing the number of outed card counters (actual or perceived being irrelevant)?

Never underestimate the ability of weak-minded, corporate beholden rats on the sinking ship to attempt to have others thrown overboard first, based upon their flawed reasoning that their new masters will give two $&s. No matter what, they will always be perceived as beholden to themselves, and not commited to the venture’s overall profitability.

    I don't think it matters.

BTW, should you learn a L2 count for a buyout?

Ameristar in KC recently was bought by the Argosy in KC. In preparation

for the take-over heat has increased at both stores. With Boyd Gaming

taking ownership of the only two "good" casinos in KC things may worsen

as Boyd has a long long history of hostility to Card Counters.

I already use a level 3 count. I'm extra prepared.

I don't think this is correct. Penn National already owns Argosy in KC. They are only going to sell one casino to Boyd and that is Ameristar. Please back up your claim with a link.
