I agree with Ryemo assessment. It is likely that you are in Biometrica. They have software that cross check names against database. You are right to be surprised, as this software is not present in every casino and if present, is usually at the blackjack pits. I guess, once casino paid the cost of it, they might want to install it at the front podium as well. You did the right thing by not playing there.

Then you would have a dedicated screen tracking you from camera to camera until you left the casino.
I understand. I know ive been databased. Was just surprised it came up like that at the podium

The moral of the story - don't give up your ID or real name in a casino, ever.

Don't think the don't have your name just because you didn't provide it. Also it doesn't matter what they call you they will have a file on you under some designation if you don't provide ID. The guarantee is the file will have a picture so they can connect you visits to the same file, where it may not have a picture if you provide a name.

What if youre young and they legit need to see it for age verification?

After being flat bet in Spanish 21 at several properties, I got backed off. Anyone ever have that experience? They did in fact have my ID.

In the midwest, try what Munchkin suggested recently on a GWAE episode. Show your ID at the security check-in, go inside for about 10 minutes. Then go back and say to the security guy that you left something in your car and you'll be right back. Hopefully, he'll remember you and not ask for ID again. So if they rewind the tape to ID you, they'll see it wasn't checked and are unlikely to go back further.

Elsewhere in the country, go to security booth and ask for a wristband. They are only checking for age in that circumstance.

Now that is a great suggestion.

I know you rode a pterodactyl to school up hill both ways during the ice age. I was directing that to Blue man who perhaps does not know what life was like before cellphones. At least you know they aren't wanting age verification. Sometimes I have trouble telling.
