Also, if you're planning to work mainly DD games on the strip, that could get sweaty pretty quickly. For low limit counters I always recommend shoe games. Low limit shoe games rarely get any attention. There's a lot of longevity to be had there...

Ok. just looking for an alternative after i run out of cigarettes, bathroom breaks, phone calls, etc. So, the dd games are probably $25 min, on the strip? What (or where can i find) the finder details of the dd game?

A lot of that was given in the first few answers of the thread (casino 411, blackjack survey on WoV, I believe Norm has one on here as well, etc, etc).

Vegas is QUANTITY, not quality... and if you're on the lower limit games enjoying a drink or two, most of the time your actually seriously doesn't even get looked at. You should be able to find a bunch of places where you can camp out, sitting in and out as you want, and spreading decent (1x10 to 2x90, etc). Usually $100 is the checks play call, but if you spread to 3 hands of $90 places don't care. Find these places and pound away.

Again - my best advice is to not focus on the rules first... focus on the rules of the game last (so long as it's not something absurd like 6:5).

$in City 10/23 was good. $10 6D on the Strip is 8D; played anyways at a few spots and won $300; 3 sessions under 1 hr each. Then, went to the place across the bay and won ~$1500 - 6D, $15 (which they later raised to $25) but, no Surrender; 4.5 hr session. the cos finally had $15 6D near the sportsbook during mnf. and, crom had $15min 6d but, it was my first stop and I was still searching for the elusive $10; won't waste my time looking for $10; $15 will be good; all day trips are exhausting; will do an overnight within a few weeks. still need to make sure all the i18 indices are automatic.

Turned out to be a bad trip. Lost ~$1100 first night in the downtown casinos. Mostly due to poor discipline; can't drink while playing; too many distractions downtown; i actually can't stand most of LV anymore with the resort fees, parking fees, and crappy blackjack. The only place I see left for me now is the nicest local place and, a couple independents on the strip. Was wondering if a session should be limited in time - when do you know to walk away as it's not likely to get better? Are there ideal session lengths? Lost about $1450 total. Will rent a car next time. I believe it will be challenging for someone with a smaller bankroll to break-in, get enough experience before moving up in bet size.

IF you are a skilled BJ player be a moving target!

You "color out", stand up and move on as soon as
you show your Max Bet or nearly that.

Up until that point your (
    revealed) bet spread
looks to be a conservative ("polite") one.

As such, after an hour or less, pry yourself away
from the table and take a hike.

than 1 shoe in any casino on any shift.

Thanks for the valuable info. I appreciate the info on the deck est. (thread), also.

The table I was at Monday, I turned $100 into $320 after about 2hrs but, was unable to make progress trying to recoup some of the evening's losses and, was actually driven away by people on vacation since I was at the table for 4 hrs and, taking breaks when warranted. Ended up leaving only up $80 after about 4 hrs.

Your mindset is ploppy-polluted [i.e. clueless player]
You do not TRY to recoup. Your session is a perfectly
meaningless and artificial division of time. In fact,
booking small losses is beneficial to you.
