Go to Boulder Highway. Plenty of $5 action.
However, the rules that you listed will NOT be found.
On the strip they do exist, but for higher stakes only.

Agree with ZMF. Just travel down Boulder Hwy. Lot of red chip action there.

Thanks...to all. Counting is just the starting point. And, lord knows that took time. I am just going to try to avoid getting my teeth kicked in while getting some experience keeping mobile. Will be making regular day trips, for now.

CBJN (paid), WoV Blackjack Survey, Casino411 (paid) are some of the places off the top of my head. Really it's going to be difficult to find that game, for $5.

Past that, are you going out to have fun and break even + comps? A $5-$30 spread on a 6D game, even a good one, will yield about $6-$7 per hour, with aggressively having your max bet out at TC +3, and without any mistakes...

Edit - I've also said this before, over and over... The "rules" for the game should be on the bottom of the list of things to look for:

    1) Heat/Tollerence
    2) Penetration
    3) Speed
    4) Side Bets
    5) Rules/HE
Don't think you have a winning game; know you have a winning game.

    4) side bets, any information on "match the dealer"? I have not found any information on that side bet.

Trip turned out successful - broke even, paid for airfare & auto rental, learned there's absolutely nothing of bj value from going to the locals casinos (except rr - excellent!). I am comfortable with moving up to $10min and will be the strip next week. the thing i see as useful is being able to play double deck as movement is necessary. Where can i find the indices and skill sets for the dd game? also, i think the 1-6/12 spread may be too conservative no the strip so, what do you recommend as a bump up?

well, there's no reason to go to any of the stations casinos except rr and maybe to check out which brand of tennis balls would be best for a walker.
i will play $10 min on the strip and, work on the dd game as the number of 6d games are too limited. what's the moderate spread recommended - i think 1-6/12 may be too conservative for the strip?
