I'd avoid hit-n-run card counting at any strip casinos for a day or two, because dealers and staff have temporarily better memories around traumatic events. Like how they all remember where they were when 9/11 happened. Plus maybe there's a follow up attack. Maybe drive down to Laughlin or SoCal.

ISIS may be incompetent, but are they so incompetent that they couldn't have thought of that? Maybe, because their Grand Theft Auto sidewalk-driving attacks get less than twenty people by comparison. If they were competent they'd raid one of the government labs where the last samples of smallpox are. Or buy a nuke from Kim Jong Un. Thank goodness the genocidal maniacs are incompetent.

I agree. Politics is divisive but truth shouldn't be censored. Read Nobody Died at Sandy Hook.

Good grief. Great example of why politics is not allowed here.

MGM stock dropped 5.58%. That dropped the market capitalization of the company by over one billion. But, the markets often overreact. Market caps of large companies often swing by absurd amounts.

All those stocks are way beyond bubble levels so any bit of news and smart managers are dumping.

Suppose it depends on what you mean by hi-roller. He's been gambling heavily the last few days. But then, I assume he knew he was about to die.

Now that I see that we have a regular poster who believes that "fake news"
has exaggerated the death toll, which stands at 59, I CERTAINLY will avoid
    even a vaguely political thread.

The shooter was a real estate developer with a net 7 figure net worth.
In the 6 days prior to the murders, he had filed six (6) C.T.R.'s at least
two (2) of which were for 20K and 30K. Just before the killing spree he
wired $100,000 to his girlfriend. He was a "Seven Star Player" at CET
    properties.
