Its better if you dont say "im kidding" just word it in a way to leave enough ambiguity and let the neurosis of your target do the rest.
Is farmer the name of someone or are you saying i should show up dressed like an actual farmer?
....I could do that...(sinister mustache twirl)

I was on lit forums at the dawn of the internet in the days of usenet - the good to insufferable ratio is better here and the information actually has a monetary value

For the younger guys, I like the might-be-a-drug-dealer act. It explains the money, keeps people on their best behaviour, and quickly gets them to also ignore you. The downside is civil forfeiture might be a bigger worry.

I also like beards. They're sexy. You can change them up and they add years so you're less likely to get carded. They're also sexy. Sexy, distracting beards.

A team came through my locale a few years ago, and the head honcho used the look like a drug dealer routine. Modest Wong in if 2 x 500 at a coup,e if stores with a quick 10k cash in raised a few eyebrows. The police gang suppression unit occasionally cruised the casinos and gave him a thorough once over.

He was one the right nationalities, young, and dressed like a slob - looked perfect for the part, except I don't recall any tattoos or piercings. The female had 2 very outstanding features and I think was dressed normally. The other fellow, a low class counter, and hilariously typical (movie 21), was dressed like a regular everyday slob.
