Must keep an open mind and keep alive the thought that you are a forum regurgitated dickhead. Alas, in the interim, I shall enjoy, to a degree, your second class ramblings.

To all others, esoecially my Jewish friends, I wish a sweet new year, with one of peace this Rosh Hashana. However, I will forego an invitation to Rocketman.

Im about to go out for the night so I want to write one serious post before i go.

I am nobody else. Nemo. You would remember my style if I were.

I love everyone here - your posts have not only been a much needed distraction in a shitty time but also a beacon of hope that there was some kind of community, however contrarian and ill-defined, that I could (with sufficient practice and application) one day be a part of and this has meant more to me than I could possibly express here.

So if anything comes off as insulting please believe that only the opposite is intended

And here I thought UstonZen's comment was Russian for "Do you understand, brother?"

But were it Hebrew, let me simply say, L'Shana Tova Tikasevu!

    Don
Going from basic strategy to using a counting system with indices, it sounds reasonable that there would be extra variance from splits and doubles at positive counts (with more money out) that would only be partially canceled out by the reduced variance from doubles and splits not made at low counts (with less money out).

    However,

Going from a counting system with indices, to the same count with upgraded PE from additional information stream(s), my guess is that the number of splits and doubles is about the same in both cases. The difference being that with an additional stream of information, sometimes the extra info will encourage a split or double, and sometimes the extra info will discourage a split or double.
