Anyone here ever lost 200 max. Bets during a prolonged losing streak?

I did actually lose the dollar equivalent of 200 of my max bets without resizing. I can tell you for sure that it was nearly all at or near the max bet level. High counts can be a curse for a long, long time.

Perhaps I am confused- what is the difference between dollar amount of your max bet and your max bet?

I believe I read Arnold Snyder recommended 1,000 units for liquid bankroll and a back-up of 1,000 units in savings just in case. For a typical 10:1 spread on 6 decks, that would be 200 max bets which he has never busted in his career. This year I've seen a 100 max bet drop while counting, and also 80 max bets lost in 3 hours while flat betting 3 hands for an +ev rebate. Blackjack Jedi can probably match the 200x losing streak.

I was getting a rolling rebate on blackjack, so together with playing perfect basic strategy gave me a small 0.4% edge. You're unlikely to find this anywhere but in Asia.

I've had two -30 max bet swings this year. I don't know if I have the fortitude to weather -200. I hope to never find out.
