    Flooding in Kansas City

I seen on the news that there was a lot of flooding in Kansas City today. Folks were sitting up on roofs. I'm curious how the casinos held up in the flood. Aren't the casinos down by the river? I assume they are in low lying areas. Is this flooding something that happens often?

AFAIK, no casinos were harmed in the flooding. They are all in the watch area, however.
