    Wheeling Island table games dead?

I was Googling and found an entertaining thread in other BJ site.

    https://www.blackjackinfo.com/commun...es-dead.23389/

I used to be more popular than T3, at least in 2011.

By the way, has anybody been Wheeling Island lately? Do they still have table games?

No disrespect, but I have difficulty believing you were ever popular. VM, like VD may well be contagious. VM= Voodoo Madness.
Not sure that reefer madness applies.

Same here.....6-yrs ago! The game was so good prior to those posts. Lots of people made money off that game. Now, it is shit.....haven't been in a year or so and when I did go. I walked in, looked around and left. Found a comfy seat at Meadows.

I seek the balance between information sharing and protection based on what I think it is fair. Anyway, why is T3 treated like a rock star here while getting banned from most Blackjack sites on Earth?

I can not believe how sad, and funny this story is. Six years went by and you still missed the point. You were not a hero you were an id - - -.

As far as popularity goes, if it doesn't increase EV who gives a fuck.

Some people just like to watch the world burn. I bring marshmallows just in case.

I think some people also don't realize when to say and not say things. It's not always common sense, or perhaps the sense isn't so common. Six years is enough time to figure out, especially after being told, that it was a bad idea to say though. I often don't know what is and isn't appropriate in life. I personally rely heavily on others in this area. For instance, I run all my new clothing by a dealer friend. He tells me if it is appropriate to wear at the tables or not. The difference is I know if a shirt is inappropriate as soon as he tells me, even if it happened 6 years ago.

On the blackjack info forum there is a banned member with your old nick. I too assumed it was you.

In that old thread on the other site in post # 30 you wrote:

"I have seen more than 100 APs at this table. If you have read my stories, you would know only two of them play rated as II know. How could they know which one of 98 is me?"

One hundred counters all participating in a good game, and someone comes along with the thought process of what they think is fair, I can think of a lot of adjectives for this behavior, but I will leave it at self centered.

Since the game is burned, I'm just curious. Is this the game where they were inadvertently offering ES? I'd heard about the game but it's long before I started playing seriously.

When it began, the casino personnel has no idea the difference between ES and LS, they just knew the newly opened PA casinos offer surrender so they want to offer surrender, too. So in the first week or first 10 days, they let players surrender without dealer checking dealer BJ first. This mistake was corrected after 7 or 10 days. Then in the next few years, this game has late surrender. Then they cut LS after a few months. They they cut S17 after a few months or weeks. Then they stopped offering DD after a few months or weeks. For most of its lifespan, it is LS and S17. When the rules got worse, it is never because too many AP came to the casino but the new owner has a different business model. The old owner put only one table at the entrance and advertised they offer the only DD game in east coast. But they cleverly made it is $5 table with max bet $300. And when AP came, he or she may not get a seat because ploppies want to play it, too. Many ploppies will settle with playing shoe game though. It is a brilliant business idea from the old owner. But some AP like T3 blamed me when they couldn't get a seat. I wish I had that power. It is just carefully designed by the casino. I had very little contribution for the busy casino.

New owners of Wheeling? Aren't they still owned by Delaware North? PA casinos opening and constant AP hammering killed the game. For two years it was a candy store where I and others camped out all night. Then the posts started......over night it turned into a full table as soon as they opened it until they closed it....like 3pm to 7am. Then the re-do of the casino floor layout. That was the death of the best game in the East.

I recall when Wheeling made the drastic change, dealers said they just have a new boss that do things very differently. And no dealers like him. No customers like him.
