I am just curious if that train of thought ever enters your mind. Considering all the pitch games you play. Anyone else have a story along those lines.

On this forum, any mention of possible cheating by casinos is forbidden.

Nah. Isolated cheating by casinos is possible but systematic cheating by casinos is impossible, according to forum consensus.

He just has that look of someone that's been around. As he got ready to shuffle, i ask him where the 10s were. For whatever reason, he flipped over and spread out the remaing cards. They were all 10s/Aces. He'd just replaced the other dealer. It was about 10 minutes before a shift change which was an odd time to change. I just had a funny feeling a friendly game just turned unfriendly. So I stopped playing and waited for the beer I'd ordered.

Another gent sat down and was playing blacks. I watched him absolutely get his ass handed to him. Dealer would entice him to bet large. The guy did and lost. I'd say he was down $4500 in 10 minutes.

The waitress brought my drink and I was intrigued enough to watch another deck. Samething happens again. The players asks me to jump in. I said, "naw the Aces and 10s are all at the bottom." Dealer shuffled immediately and glared at me. I smiled and walked away.

There were a couple of other instances but not as obvious.
I don't believe you. There is no dealer that good. On the other hand, if it is automatic shuffling machine on beast mode, then I believe you.

I was just curious because even though it is a very rare possibility, there are a few dealers who can do this. Subsequently it is not out of a realm of a possibility from happening. Especially anytime humans are involved. Years ago the mob was noted for it. Methods are virtually undetectable by eye only sound can it be noticed. You do not think that a desperate person would not possibly collude by helping a friend, at the expense of others sitting at the table? The casino very well could be completely innocent, and unaware. I have not played pitch games in many years, but still I feel it was a good question to ask.

It's not. It's very possible. They can be that good, that you suspect, but can't verify. Best thing to do is walk away. I did that once.

I play a fair bit of pitch games. One time I was playing against this older female dealer. I heard a popping sound when she was pitching. I looked down and had three cards. I don't know for certain if she was dealing seconds, but I sure didn't stick around long enough to find out.

And here is the critical point.

No point in complaining - you can't prove anything. Just bugger off.

So, did u bust on the 3 cards?
Player - I busted when dealer, dealing seconds, accidentally gave me 3. Can I keep the best 2 out if 3?

I have to find out the ruling on that one, which initially assume as a total burn. At that point, I would have verbally said something about not trusting this game and walking off. Depending in venue, and if behind, I may well have said more.
